1 Down...who knows how many more to go!

Okay…the first Saturday edition of HIPP NIGHTS is now in the books. We are moving on to show #2. Doing 5 hours was a lot longer than I thought. My goal, with the first show, was to see if I could tread water the entire time without any gimmicks or scripted nonsense. I feel like I succeeded. How many people can say they hosted a 5 hour talk show about nothing? (how many people would WANT to?)

So moving forward to show number 2 I’m going to break down each hour to one major topic. Last Saturday night I had Johnny O call in. He used to buzz into our show (before I got fired) every Monday night with a top 5 list. We never knew what he was going to cover with his lists…it was pretty much just a top 5 breakdown of whatever he had on his mind. Well, on Saturday, he called in and gave me a top5 list of things he wished I COULD HAVE covered in 2009—had I NOT been fired!

So we have 5 items that I’m going to spin into 5 topics. Here they are:

So, with a 5 hour show on deck for this Saturday, we now have a topic to hit for each hour. Will that be the only thing (or things) we will cover? Not at all…I’m still keeping the show wide open to any and every phone call you guys (and girls) want to make. At any time you can derail the show into a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book.
